1. I am aged 18 years or above and wish for myself / my child to participate in the Red Hill Colour Run and I am the parent/legal guardian of the registered child who is/are under the age of 18. I wish for myself / this child to participate in the Colour Run on 3rd July 2026 (subject to change).
2. I agree that I / my child will participate in the Colour Run in accordance with the specific safety rules clearly explained by staff at the beginning of the challenge.
3. I understand that participating in the Red Hill Colour Run is a potentially hazardous activity where coloured powder will be thrown at and around me / my child during the event. However, I understand that the powder is EN71 Certified and we as a school / PTA have done everything possible to ensure our powders are the safest available, but I understand that the suitability for me / my child to take part in the event falls on myself.
4. I agree that I / my child will wear any safety equipment in accordance with the safety instructions and risk assessment, there is an advisory to wear eye protection. Sunglasses and prescription eyewear are not technically eye protection.
5. I agree to provide a white or light coloured t-shirt to wear on the course.
6. Participants are expected to follow the instructions that are given to them. They must adhere to school rules, show respect towards the other pupils taking part, school staff, and other parents / legal guardians.
7. I confirm that I am / my child is in good health and has no medical impairments that may prevent me / them from participating in the activity. If I have any concerns about physical condition, I will consult my / my child’s doctor before participating in the activity and inform the school straight away.
8. I acknowledge that participation in the activity may be physically demanding and that there are risks of injury.
9. I hereby indemnify Red Hill C of E Primary School and The Friends of Red Hill Primary School against all claims made by any other person against Red Hill C of E Primary School and The Friends of Red Hill Primary School in respect of any injury, loss or damage, arising out of or in connection with my failure to comply with the safety instructions and/or directions given by the staff.
10. I acknowledge that I have read, fully understand and agree with all of the above (Points 1-9) prior to checking the box, which signifies my acceptance.
